Spring pictures

It's been a great Spring so far and we have a lot of pictures to show for it!  Jack is just over two, and Matthew is 5 months now.  We are having so much fun and trying to savor every moment - they are at such great ages!  Jack is recently very into baseball -he plays with his little mitt and ball all the time.  He wants to watch baseball games on TV as well - he hands the remote to one of us and says "Bee-Ball! Bee-Ball!"  When the game comes on he runs and grabs his mitt and ball and imitates the players making catches and throws.  His other obsessions include Elmo, Spider Man ("Me-O-Man"), Mickey Mouse ("Me-Mo"), and temporary tattoos ("AT-ooo Ease" means "Tattoo please"!)  He is a loving big brother and has recently started calling his little brohter "Chi-Choo".   For those of you wondering, no we did not get a dog, we have been lovingly calling Matthew "Chewie" for several months!  It started when Brendan shortened Matthew to "Chew" hoping that was something Jack could say, then it changed to Chewie.  Jack now says ChiCoo instead of Chewie... whatever!  Chew, Chewie, ChiChoo is doing great as well.  He is incredibly expressive and just lights up at the smallest amount of attention.  He loves cuddles and kisses, and just coos and laughs at all the affection he gets from Mommy, Daddy and Jack.  He has discovered his hands, and is even putting things in his mouth!  He is more and more interested in toys and the things around him every day.... and so far, Jack has done a good job sharing!

These pictures start in early April, so they include Grandma and Grandpa Ungerman's visit, Easter, and other Spring fun!

Jack's Puppy Party

It's hard to believe Jack is TWO!  His birthday was on April 4th, and Grandma and Grandpa Ungerman were in town to help us celebrate.  Because Brendan was out of town for two weeks in early April, we had Jack's party on April 17th when he returned.   It was a beautiful day, and we celebrated in Memorial Park, near our house (same place as last year). Since Jack has been in love with dogs for most of his life, we had a "puppy themed" party for him.  Puppy plates, napkins, balloons, cupcake decorations, and even a puppy bouncy house!  The bouncy house was the big hit - he and all his friends jumped for hours. Alma, Jack's favorite babysitter (and the head of the gym daycare we attend) also came to the party and painted the kids faces.
